This Saturday, May 16th, Stephen DeVries and the whole Eleven Productions crew will be in Atlanta celebrating their very first Southeast Emmy Awards nominations, and it just feels really special. We were honored to receive several nominations, including Short Form Branded Content, along with a directing nomination for Stephen DeVries. More than anything, it’s a reminder of how many good people go into making work like this. The crews, producers, editors, clients, friends, and collaborators who trusted the process and helped bring these projects to life. Really proud of the work, really grateful for the people behind it, and excited to watch these incredible crews celebrate in Atlanta this weekend. What a beautiful way to honor projects we genuinely loved being part of. . . . . #emmyawards #bestdirector #advertising #singersewingmachine #stephendevries

This guy is graduating today with a Master’s Degree in Marine Biology and Environmental Field Research and damn… we are so incredibly proud of you, Cole. We love you so much. Watching you grow farther into a kind, hardworking human has been so crazy great. The world needs more people working with Mother Earth.

Earlier this year, @willsaundersphoto had the chance to work with an incredible team photographing the new Specialized Vado 3 EVO in Milan, Italy during the Olympics. The approach was never about making traditional cycling imagery. It became about restraint, precision, movement, and feeling. Treating the bike less like sports equipment and more like an object of design, letting the architecture, light, texture, and energy of Milan elevate the story. Pulling inspiration from automotive, fashion, and still photography, the imagery feels cinematic, intentional, and grounded in the environment rather than overbuilt. What makes Will’s work stand out is not just how something looks, but how it feels. His ability to step into a place, pay attention to the small details, and create imagery that feels elevated, human, and lived in. Find the feeling. Build the story. And lean into the “what if we try this” Grateful to be in the room with teams willing to push creatively - you guys are the very best! @iamspecialized // Vado 3 Evo Director duo: @taylorreidcreative EP: @lorenzomajno @theblinkfish Producer: @maestroyoad Production manager: marcoagnesi 1st AD: Alberto Poli First assistant: @delfobardellibotarelli Stylist: @claudia_cerasuolo @lavinia_bozzini Specialized team: @christophernorris Vincent Poupon Stefan Barth #advertising #outdoor #lifestyle #milan #outdoorliving

I love you, my sweet girl. You are light… and such a quiet kind of courage. Strength and softness all at once. You move through the world with so much curiosity — about places, about people, about yourself — and it’s such a gift. I’m so proud of you, Quinnie. Truly. So many sunsets behind you… and so many more waiting for you.

“I think most photographers will agree that there are times in our lives when we meet people who challenge our views of life and living. Dean Potter was one of those special humans. He was no different than the rest of us, but he embraced his own view of the world, living life on his own terms and doing what most people are fearful of. That’s a brave man in a world full of facades. He was all of us, beautifully flawed. Thank you, Dean, for enriching my life.” — Andy Anderson There’s a kind of quiet that lives in these moments. Andy has always had a way of stripping things back, letting the image breathe, letting the person exist inside it without overworking it. Nothing forced. Nothing extra. Just presence, light, and a feeling you can’t quite explain but recognize immediately. These images reflect the way Dean Potter moved through life, grounded in freedom, simplicity, and a constant return to what is essential and honest. I never met Dean, but his passion for freedom always inspired me, and his way of making things simple, really simple, has stayed with me. He wasn’t chasing more. He was letting go of it. Dean passed away a few years ago, out in the open, in the kind of space where he felt most alive. It doesn’t feel like an ending so much as a continuation of how he chose to live. He’s remembered not for the risk alone, but for the way he saw the world, with stillness, intention, and a belief that less could hold more. That’s what these feel like to me. Not just photographs, but a pause. A return to something true. Where the noise drops out, the body softens, and you’re left with breath, space, and the sense that maybe less has always been more. This image holds so much in one capture. Everyone finds their own sense of calm and peace in it — it brings up memories, that feeling of wind on your face, the quiet, the warmth of the sun. I don’t know about you, but it gives me that kind of calm that lowers my shoulders and lets me breathe. Andy’s images take you somewhere else. It’s a flow. You don’t just see the river — you can hear it. Here’s to the week ahead. . . . . #flyfishing #beautyinnature #publiclands #photography #outdoors

FULL CIRCLE. Will Saunders was named Overall Winner of the Red Bull Illume Image Quest a few years back — one of the most respected honors in adventure and action sports photography. And now, he’s been invited back as a judge for the next chapter of Illume — helping shape what comes next. Will’s winning image pulls you in right away — a climber suspended mid-air against the vast desert, almost like a superhero. There’s strength and control, but also this sense of grace and openness that makes it feel bigger than just the moment. But what makes it stay with you is what Will brought to it — a willingness to push past the obvious. Instead of capturing a traditional fall, he collaborated with his friend and climber Jake Talley to shape the moment. With intention and trust, they created an image suspended somewhere between reality and imagination. Will now gets to support Illume as it moves forward independently — built on the legacy of Red Bull Illume — entering a new chapter with a renewed focus on human-powered sports, and a deeper intention to inspire the preservation of the places we are so privileged to play in and capture. Submissions open May 11.

There’s something about working with Rob Adamo that stays with me. He has been shooting portraits / lifestyle for all kinds of national campaigns. We’ve been through so many moments of creative energy, problem solving, and those quiet realizations that happen somewhere between the idea and the final RFP. But taking a portrait and taking one that actually stays with you… those are two very different things. Rob just sees more. Going through Rob’s images for the new website (eventually — haha), I keep coming back to his portraits. There’s grit. Tension. Humanity. They don’t feel polished in a way that creates distance, they feel close. Honest. They hold just enough back. I remember being at a talk with Duane Michals and I’ll never forget it. He asked, “It’s easy to take a photograph of a beautiful person. The question is, can you make a photograph of an ugly person beautiful?” In true Michals form. That idea lives inside Rob’s work. It’s not about surface. It’s about perception. Empathy. What the photographer brings into the moment and what they choose to see. His images don’t give everything away. They ask you to stay a little longer. To look again. To wonder who these people are, what they’re carrying in their hearts, what just happened before the frame, what comes next. And maybe that’s the part that sticks with me the most — I always want to know more. #portrait #advertising #portrature #photographer #portraitphotography

So what do moody cocktail lounges, the San Diego Padres, and Opening Day of baseball season all have in common? Matt Furman. Matt has always been a big Padres fan and had the chance to work with the players, along with capturing a beautiful new cocktail lounge near the stadium. The images, inside and out, are just stunning. You can feel the place, the energy, the experience of it all. Enjoy today. I’m not sure what it is, but Opening Day just makes the world feel a little brighter. #openingday2026 #sandiegopadres #food #photoshoot #mattfurmanphotography
