🏆 CHAMPION ALERT! 🏆 What an incredible year of racing it’s been for our juniors in the 2025 QLD Junior Cup Series! We wrapped up the series at Morgan Park on the weekend to roars of applause for these young racers.
👏 Huge congratulations to Ethan Pelgrave — your 2025 QLD Junior Cup Champion!
Ethan, you’ve trained hard all season alongside your fellow competitors, and we’ve been so impressed with your dedication, growth, and performance. This is just the beginning, mate — and we can’t wait to see what you do next!
We’ve been trackside every round — witnessing the smiles, cheers, a few tears, and the pure joy of racing. This series truly showcases what junior racing is all about and is hands-down one of the best programs with so much support for young riders to be part of.
Ricondi and RACE and ROAD are proud sponsors of the series, and we’re just as proud to see the kids protected head to toe in the ultimate safety gear.

a few favourites from the weekend ❤️🔥
we know we’ve said this for every round so far, but we think this was the best one yet. Record lap times were broken by MULTIPLE riders, @owentodd_18 took his first win followed by two more and battled with @ethan.p433@kael_brien@emz_emz23@prestonhanly_ Tommy and @lxchie_23 . Preston took fastest lap of the weekend with a lightning 1:38.9, Lachy took his first podium and Emily took her second. @ciarawixonwise hit PB after PB, closing the gap to the riders in front every race and Em Yanko went from a 2min30 lap on Friday to a 1:56 lap on Sunday 🤯 earning herself a $10 reward - thanks Mum and Dad for the incentive 😉 It was a weekend of wins for every single rider and we’re pumped to be apart of it!
And that’s a wrap for 2025!!
Firstly, we’d like to thank @rinas_race_team for organising and managing absolutely everything, believing in us, and herding the kids when they scatter like cats 😅 Our coaches, @woolfsword@damaged241 , @martykracht for your time, invaluable feedback and advice. Every single junior who has jumped on our bikes this year has improved because of you all. Our mechanics, @martykracht and @j_archer121 ; we know we kept you busy, but we can’t thank you enough for the time and explanations you’ve given to both the juniors and their parents. And lastly, a big big thank you to our sponsors - without your support, we wouldn’t have gotten to where we are today. We’ve finished racing for 2025, but we’re only just getting started! Stay tuned for our next come and try day for 2026 😎
Another cracking day with some insanely close racing!
Owen, Tommy, Kael, Ethan and Emily had a battle every lap, with Owen taking his very first win by a tenth. Congratulations mate! Tommy and Kael rounded out the podium with Ethan and Em very close behind. Lachlan and Preston had a two way battle, with Preston taking 6th by a tenth of a second. Ciara and Emily both dropped such an impressive amount of time, well done girls!! We’re immensely proud of you all and can’t wait for another ripper of a day tomorrow ✊🏼
a big day of free practice yesterday with 9 juniors. Unfortunately Harry had a big off Thursday ruling him out of the weekend, but he’s up and helped everyone out in the pits all day which we loved to see!
This round is not only our last, but the deciding round for who will take home the championship. @ethan.p433 and @kael_brien are tied on points for 🥇 and Tommy a close 56 points behind! Ethan and @lxchie_23 swapped P1 for each free practice session today, with Thomas and Kael keeping the pressure on. It’s going to be a cracker of a weekend, stay tuned!
