A week on from the Australian Road Race titles at Broadford... Holy hell 😳 Had an awesome weekend, managed to come to grips with the track pretty quickly, track is absolute insanity !!!
Managed to win my class and set the lap record 🤘 Very happy, was racing with Tim Pearce, a proper steerer and gentleman 🙏

Thanks to Ascari Works and Gimoto leathers I was able to make the Superbike Masters race at Motogp last weekend 🙏
Having had a big one the weekend before, the integrated airbag in this suit definitely saved me, again !! I cannot recommend this suit highly enough, from comfort to style and top notch safety, it's a ten out of ten from me ♥️

Had time to catch my breath after Rd3 of the SDRRC at Morgan Park last weekend !! Had it all, coaching QLD Junior Cup and some older kids, love it, everyone progressed 🙌
Qualified P2 and finished P3 overall, very happy with that! Finally got a start right on the R1 🙄 great racing with Ryan Yanko and Callum Barker-McVey, two competitors i have a great deal of respect for 🙏 good blokes as well 👍

I am still flying after the race weekend at QR for Round 2 !!
Race 1 I passed 4 riders to take the win, same in race 2. Made a few mistakes in race 3 and 4 to take two 2nd places.
Got the lap record, pumped, and seems I was somewhat of a crowd pleaser for the weekend 🤘🤘 appreciate everyone's kind words 🙏

Raced Masters of Morgan Park last weekend, a very humbling event for a few reasons...
High sided on out lap in qualifying 😳 ,can tick that off the bucket list...
If it wasn't for my Gimoto suit with integrated air vest from Ascari Works I could not have kept competing in the event, no injuries, amazing 🙏
Ian Lovell , John Coyle , Phil Keable , and Corey Glock were also amazing, repaired the bike so I could make race 1, Robbie Robins donated a stator cover to get me going as well, thankyou gentlemen !!
4 wins in class with 3 x overall wins was just rewards for the lads efforts.

Ripper weekend at SDRRC Rd 1 for me on a track I don't have a great deal of experience with to be honest 👍
Couple of front end saves 😳✔️
Cracked a 1:11.5 for a new pb by some margin and came back from running off track in last race to recover some decent points 👍
Coached the QJC kids this round and they didn't disappoint, all progressed well after a fair few off's on Friday 👏👏

What an honour it has been to be coaching this group of young road racers in QLD Junior Cup 🙏
A lot of ups and downs that only racing can provide, the improvement in all of the kids was amazing 👏
Not only the kids learnt a lot, their parents and the QJC staff also. The most surprising was how quickly it turned stressful for me during the races.....😳 it's a whole lot more for their parents...
I thoroughly enjoy it though, great initiative. My hat goes off to those who have made it happen !! Mark McGregor
