Ordh are a new project featuring former members of Vermont sludge metal outfit Barishi plus vocalist Jonathan Hébert of Come to Grief. They put out their debut album 'Blind in Abyssal Realms' in the middle of April, and they're already are making waves. Weaving together progressive death metal elements from later Death with melodic blackened death metal similar to Sulphur Aeon, this is a mystifying listen that enraptured me on my first spin.
Ordh have a few live shows under their belt already, but they will also be playing Maryland Deathfest in two short weeks on Friday May 22. I will be catching them on camera to see how they translate this magic on stage.

The album will be released on vinyl via Me Saco Un Ojo Records and on CD through Pulverised.
