Extremely Rotten Death Fest 2026 is now only a month away and we’re excited to celebrate 15 years of extremely rotten death metal with all of you for 4 days in Copenhagen.
Sadly this post also comes with news, as @castleumbra , @moiscus_ and @reverence_to_paroxysm regretfully will have to be postponed till 2027 (yes, you read that right – we’re already planning to do a festival again next year), but we’ve come up with 3 replacements for this year that will keep this year’s festival appropriately brutal still.

Extremely Rotten Productions presents the demo compilation from Chicago death metal band CONTAGION.
A long time coming, following the 2LP compilation we released 5 years ago, we’re excited to finally bring you the CD compilation of these legendary demos.
The release compiles the 1991 and 1992 demos onto one CD, remastered by Lasse in Ballade Studios in 2021.
Comes 20 page booklet with lots of old flyers, photos and info from the era around the demos in the early 1990’s.

Copenhagen grinders MELTIFICATION have arrived with their blistering, self-titled debut album. Reminiscent of the late 80s/early 90s era of Earache Records bands, MELTIFICATION unleash a fast and aggressive breed of grindcore with shares of hardcore punk and thrash metal.
“Meltification” delivers 18 rapid-fire anthems of obliteration aimed right at the throats of old-school fans of extreme metal and grindcore.

MELTIFICATION was formed by veteran of the Copenhagen hardcore scene, Tue Sprogø (Death Token, Asbest, Deformation). Tue Sprogø’s passion for classic grindcore lead him to to team with ex-Imperious Mortality drummer Thomas Rindom. The duo give life to an absolute bulldozer of an album, marked with fast, hectic blastbeats and crushingly heavy grooves.
In addition to writing the music, and recording all of the guitars, bass and vocals, Tue Sprogø also illustrated the album’s artwork.
“Meltification” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Lasse Ballade at @balladestudios in Copenhagen, Denmark.
