Big love to bricks ! So excited to have work on the cover of the new issue ! Set design for this cover using recycled material that wasn't able to be used for an immersive theatre STEAM show with the fantastic @smashfestuk a few years ago (due to it not being fire retardant ) so was gifted it in the pack down and have been awaiting a use for it since ! A commitment to sustainable practice where possible is so important in an industry that is flippant with waste. What an honour to set design, fabricate and build with my fab team for this years @bricks_magazine calendar with the incredibly beautiful , sweet snd talented @iamblackpeppa :) Last year I was set assistant on the calendar so to be here a year later is really special so very many thanks to @jonquil.lawrence for teaching me so much this past year as-well for giving me that opportunity to break into it back in 2022 and @toriwest for believing in me and reaching out to ask for me to make this step up this year whilst supporting me and the team all the way through, both of your support has meant the world to me ! I cannot thank my stunning team @fai.mous and @felixmackow more for coming on last minute together and banging out some stuff I’m really proud of that we aimed to make as close to sustainable practice as possible because there is so much waste in our industry !
