🧪 Finally: trampské piesne chopped & screwed Matúš Kobolka (Bolka) is a programmer, composer, and computer music performer who has been involved with the Bratislava-based label LOM since 2011 and operates his activities under the name Bolka. After completing his studies at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague, he moved away from noise improvisation and approaches sound material and technologies in a more subversive manner. 🐇🌱 Ondrej Zajac x Petr Vŕba – Electroacoustic meditations at dawn chorus Petr Vrba - his tireless exploration of non-idiomatic improvisation using trumpet, clarinets, synthesizers, homemade electronics, vibrating speakers, and other elements makes him one of the most active experimental musicians in Prague. His discography includes more than 40 albums. Since 2018, he has been the dramaturge of the Alternativa festival in Prague. He has worked at Prague Radio 1 since 1994. Ondrej Zajac is a genre-defying guitarist who seamlessly blends experimental music, ambient, minimalism, and prepared techniques. He has released recordings both solo and in collaborations across Slovakia, the Czech Republic, England, Mexico, Peru, and France. He composes music for short films and gallery exhibitions, and has performed improvised concerts with dozens of musicians. 🐛🌅🌿 Listening to the world of earthworms with special microphones - @jiri.suchanek_ @ Less is Sound Jiří Suchánek is a Czech sound and media artist. At Less Is Sound, he will present a sound performance that works with sonification of earthworm movement. His work explores the relationship between nature, technology, and the durability of electronic media in harsh climatic conditions. He often incorporates natural thermodynamic processes into generating or controlling emerging music and light patterns. He advocates the idea of open, shared authorship, where the environment is a co-author of the artwork. He is a lecturer at the Department of Audiovisual Technology at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Brno University of Technology, where he teaches sound technology and the history of sound art. ✨Dorota Matejová @pupavy is a musician, traverso flute player, movement performer, poet, and creator of music-movement-poetry performances and compositions. At Less Is Sound, she will present an entirely new participatory composition. Her fascination and inspiration lie in physicality—the body, sound, instrument, voice, poetry—and exploring new ways of existing “on stage.” In her work, she utilizes the distinctive sound of the traverso, wooden flutes, and whistles, along with movement and her poetry, creating acts and performances of both improvised and composed character.
