🐇🌱 Ondrej Zajac x Petr Vŕba – Electroacoustic meditations at dawn chorus
Petr Vrba - his tireless exploration of non-idiomatic improvisation using trumpet, clarinets, synthesizers, homemade electronics, vibrating speakers, and other elements makes him one of the most active experimental musicians in Prague. His discography includes more than 40 albums. Since 2018, he has been the dramaturge of the Alternativa festival in Prague. He has worked at Prague Radio 1 since 1994.
Ondrej Zajac is a genre-defying guitarist who seamlessly blends experimental music, ambient, minimalism, and prepared techniques. He has released recordings both solo and in collaborations across Slovakia, the Czech Republic, England, Mexico, Peru, and France. He composes music for short films and gallery exhibitions, and has performed improvised concerts with dozens of musicians.
Audiences have heard him at festivals, apartments, clubs, cultural centers, apple orchards, abandoned buildings, galleries, bookstores, city walls, trams, churches, mills, atomic shelters, museums, phone booths, and botanical gardens.

Less Is Sound project centers on deep listening as a pathway to (interspecies) sensitivity. At a time when all meanings are being erased, it aims to create a tiny safe space and engage with listening as an artistic, ecological, and political practice.
🌱Join us in tuning into the intersections of human and more-than-human worlds through concerts and sound performances that embrace the local soundscape—the rustling of the forest, birdsong, and the movement of earthworms—as equal creative actors in a shared acoustic ecology.
☘️How can we respect the natural soundscape while also (co)creating with it as an equal artistic voice?
