I did it! I made the Nine Inch Nails “closer” drums for the sequential circuits drum tracks / LinnDrum. I made the binary files with the Oberheim Prommer, then programmed it for the drumtraks. I made some kind of nine inch nails patches using a Moog voyager And Prophet 600. No it’s not exact, and yes the kick I sampled was from Nightclubbing by Iggy Pop. Good luck trying to make this set with out the Oberheim Prommer. This was extremely difficult to make and get right. It’s my first time programming the mini Moog and prophet 600 via midi. You need the latest O.S for the prophet 600 in order to control it right with your DAW. (But the whole point is the drums in the sequential circuits drumtraks) PS I am all sold off LinnDrum chips. But I do have the nin drums for sale for the drumtraks. $200. (For all the nin drums)

I bought the entire Marvel Legends X-men marvel 60th anniversary. I love how articulate these things are.
They were extremely hard to find in the wild, so I’m not going to buy any more. They are not cheap highly collectible / liquidable. But they bring me inspiration and Joy. One day I would like to get back into drawing again.

I was the first act in history to Headline the Detroit Electronic music Festival. Now known as Movement. One reason we were so good, we had no rules, no safety net, no internet. Our secret from Detroit, analog Synthesizer and guitar pedals like Prince. Rock, punk, music as we know it would not be the same if it wasn’t for pedals. Especially Electro Harmonix. And an old company called Mu-tron. This is nothing but a ARP Axxe (which sounds better then any clone) a sequential circuits Pro one, a Linn Drum, and a bunch or boutique pedals patched all to the Yamaha O2R. Via Aux and a patch bay.
This is my first real video with good audio. You will notice the stereo imaging and panning. That’s because I’m using for Pedal boards 3 are stereo each with their own different algorithms. So I would highly recommend playing this with headphones one.

AI just taught me how to run my external Sound card directly to my iPhone 17 Pro. You need a USB B to USB C cable, or a USB to USB c adapter. Now I will be able to have clear audio. Before I had to record the audio into my daw, import the audio, get a video app, try to sync it, the save it as a whole new project.
This will just be plug and record right to the iPhones camera.

I really been enjoying my reverbs before my delays. My favorite reverb of all time is by @earthquakerdev . It’s called the Afterneath V3. It’s the only reverb you can tune the reverb. “Mind blowing” and it goes to infinity. Then I use a @chasebliss Reverse mode C, going to my favorite @strymonengineering Deco V2.

Im taken it back to how I played live in Detroit back in the 90s early 2000s. I guess it’s my first love and these 3 pieces of gear is what I always built my entire studio around. It’s nothing but a ARP axxe (which still sounds better then all the clones) a Linn Drum, And a sequential Circuits Pro One. The ARP is hooked to the Pro one, Via CV/gate, the pro one sequencer is controlling the Arp Axxe, the Linn Drum trigger is controlling the Pro Ones sequencers timing. 4 pedal boards hooked to the Aux. 1 mono board, 3 stereo boards. All patches to a patch bay. The Linn Drum individual outputs are hooked to the mixing board, so I can run my Linn drum through my pedals one instrument at a time Like Prince.

Yesterday I went and sold some silver, it was about $300 in silver, guy low balled me at $190 I talked him up to $200. It didn’t matter because I bought the silver for really cheap 3 years ago. I said “fine” because I still made a profit. I wanted to watch the sunset in Rochester hills, near my grandfathers house. So I went to the thrift store to watch a very beautiful sunset. I walk in the store, I immediately see this Shlomi Haziza pedestal. I couldn’t believe it. Because we already have a tiki by him. And I really wanted something to put it on. So I take a photo of it to look it up on my phone. As I’m looking it up, this Asian Lady comes up to me demanding she looks at my phone, and was insisting she looks at my photos, I’m in shock. The only thing I care about is purchasing this piece of art and walking out this thrift store Legally so it’s mine. I’m like do I start some argument with this lady? At this point she is ready to call the Police. I calmly whip out my phone and show her my phone, because I just want to get out of there with this treasure legally. She felt so stupid and embarrassed she saw my photos. Like wtf would I want to take a photo of a random person in a thrift store? I controlled my emotions, handled the situation professionally, walked off with the treasure like a G. Now we have 2 Shlomi Haziza pieces in our collection.

I took these shots at 3 am, in the woods in the middle of the night. I could barely see. But the shots came out like it’s sunset. I controlled my iPhone 17 pro with my Apple Watch. As a kid from the 80s this is like Star Trek or living in the future. I very much so love technology. And I love to take photos.
