🎤 New speaker just dropped
Say hello to Asher @mr_vidkid , a creative storyteller and multimedia editor who’s built his career by creating opportunities, not waiting for them.
After facing constant rejection early on, Asher took things into his own hands, using storytelling, social media and self-initiated projects to carve his own path into the industry. What started as making cartoons in Microsoft Paint at uni has grown into global brand work, Emmy-nominated projects and features on Amazon Prime. Now, he’s on a mission to help creatives rethink rejection, embrace imperfect ideas and build momentum through persistence and self-belief.

Process Leeds 004 was another sellout, and such a good night! Huge thank you to everyone who came along and filled @theatticleeds with brilliant energy. It genuinely means a lot to see this community keep showing up. And a big thank you to our speakers @gina.hootcopy@nighthawk.studio@buttercrumblecreative for giving their time and energy for the evening
All three speakers shared honest talks about the things they wish they’d known earlier in their careers, lessons learned the hard way and insights that only come with time in the industry. Completely unplanned, they each showed photos of their younger selves too, which gave the whole night a subtle “this is who designs your graphics / writes your copy” vibe. A nice reminder that we all start somewhere.

Host of @process_leeds
My name is Frazer, a senior designer at, @outofplacest , a studio working across the arts, culture, and charity sector. My jam is web and UX & UI design, where I like to 'put the fun in functional' by designing experiences that work for their users, but are also delightful to use.
My career started with creative meetups attending events such as Glug whilst studying design in Leeds. It was at one of their nights where I made connections at an agency called Parallax. This led to an internship and part–time role before providing me with the opportunity to enter industry when I graduated in 2017.
I love hosting Process because I get to meet so many inspiring people. Either those that I invite to speak on–stage or by simply talking to the attendees that help us to keep doing great things for the creative community in Leeds.
