How to submit a performer claim in myPPL – video guide 🤔
Performer Claims allows performers to register the contributions they have made to sound recordings in our PPL database.
To help ensure that you receive the correct amount of income from PPL you need to be linked correctly to all the recordings on which you performed in our Repertoire Database.
You do this by submitting claims.
The video will help you understand the five steps to making a claim:
1️⃣ Search PPL’s Repertoire Database for recordings on which you performed
2️⃣ Check the performer line-up to ensure you are listed correctly
3️⃣ Move recordings to the Claims Basket if you are missing from the line-up or if the information is incorrect
4️⃣ Enter the required information about your performance on the recording
5️⃣ Submit the claim

Welcome to PPL, @cmatbaby 🌍✨
CMAT(Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson) has appointed PPL to collect her international neighbouring rights royalties.
Known for razor-sharp lyrics and a distinctive blend of country and pop, CMAT’s fast‑rising career has taken her from a No.1 debut to global acclaim, including the breakout success of ‘Take a Sexy Picture of Me’.
After playing Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage in 2025, she took to Coachella’s Gobi Stage in 2026 and has just wrapped a handful of US dates supporting Florence + The Machine.
CMAT joins performers such as Charli xcx, Dua Lipa and The Last Dinner Party, who have selected PPL for international collections.
