PPCM Vokal- und Instrumental-Studierende präsentieren eine Auswahl der Werke des Komponisten Georges Aperghis, die im direkten Austausch mit ihm erarbeitet wurden. @ppcm_vocal @ppcm_instrumental ℹAperghis hat über Jahrzehnte hinweg neu definiert, was Musiktheater sein kann: ein Raum, in dem Gestik, fragmentierte Sprache, erfundene Wörter, Objekte und Stille gleichwertiges musikalisches Material sind. Sein Leitgedanke ist „faire musique de tout“, also aus allem Musik zu machen! Ich freue mich riiiiiiiesig mein MA-Konzert in PPCM-vokal anzukündigen 😍 Frauenliebe und Eigenleben!... ...ist ein Programm über unterschiedliche Rollen der Frau und die Stärke, die ich im Zuge meines Studiums in mir entdecken durfte. Ich darf dabei auch so viele großartige Musiker*innen und Komponist*innen einladen und bin begeistert mit euch gemeinsam Musik zu machen🫰 Es würde mir sehr viel bedeuten, euch bei meinem Konzert begrüßen zu dürfen, um gemeinsam diesen Abend zu feiern 🫶🥳🥂

| 🇬🇷 upcoming: @outhear_newmusic 2026 in Thessaloniki | 🤩 Featuring #workshops, #mentoring sessions and a #masterclass for composition, the outHEAR New Music Week offers aspiring #composers the opportunity to work on their new pieces and to gain insights into #performing and #composition techniques. 🎶 Together with ensemble members of Klangforum Wien and students of the @ppcm_instrumental and @ppcm_vocal they can directly bring their new pieces to life and present them in two #concerts on 19 & 21 April in Thessaloniki. Steve Reich - Music for 18 Musicians - PPCM Ensemble THU, 5 March 2026 | @helmutlisthalle , Graz The 2026 festival edition opens with Steve Reich’s “Music for 18 Musicians”, presented by Elevate in collaboration with the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG) and under the artistic direction of Klangforum Wien. The piece is regarded as a key work of minimal music in which time and structure seem to flow. Pulsating patterns, microscopic rhythmic shifts, and subtle sonic transformations create a hypnotic pull. The piece will be performed by students of the Programme in Performance Practice in Contemporary Music (PPCM). Tickets in all categories now available! Link in bio.
