The soprano part in Richard Ayres’ piece will be performed by Portuguese soprano Beatriz Gaudêncio Ramos, whose repertoire ranges from early music to contemporary premieres. In 2024 she appeared in Pascal Dusapin’s opera Passion at the NODO festival.

Wir sind einsam for soprano, cello, and synthesizer was created for the Invisible Drives #10 concert, an interdisciplinary project that included a collaboration between dance students from the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität, and master's students in composition at the Kunstuniversität Graz.
The premiere took place on 08.05.2024 at the György-Ligeti-Saal in MUMUTH, Graz.
