For the final SHARP magazine issue of 2024, we sat down with two leaders on opposite sides of the food and drink landscape.
First, we visited David Schwartz (
@dschwa92 ) at his new restaurant Linny’s. Marking restaurant no.3 for Schwartz and company, Linny’s layers a personal story and time honoured dining experience into one product. While the space is new, what we came to understand is that the inherent charm of a steakhouse (in this case, a Deli Steakhouse) has far less to do with patina, history, or even steak for that matter. Instead, it is more about the how the guest relates and interacts with those elements, and how a shared idea of the past might be conveyed through a nice dinner -

Next, we sat down with Trey Zoeller, (
@treyzo ) founder of Jefferson’s Bourbon. On his worldwide tour promoting the latest Jefferson’s releases, Zoeller was kind enough to give us a history lesson on an otherwise misunderstood part of American drink culture, and share his familie’s story along the way. While Bourbon has long belonged to Kentucky, Zoeller looks to breathe new life into the style, redefining the idea of terroir along the way -

We look forward to our next chat with both of them, and in the meantime, we’ll enjoy what they do.
Look out for our next piece in this years SHARP Spring issue -
