Where: Common Wealth Crush Winery, Waynesboro, VA
This is a collaboration with Oenoverse - an organization co-led by Reggie Leonard (he/him), Tiffany Nguyen (she/her), and Tracey Love (she/her), promoting and amplifying underrepresented voices within the Virginia wine industry. This event is our first of many efforts in cross pollinating communities + bringing more attention to hybrid grape growers and winemakers in Virginia + greater East Coast.

Through the grapevines some of y’all may have heard, but the torch has been passed along and as their previous fiscal sponsor, Co-Fermented will now be ABV’s new home.
Co-Fermented is a 501-C3 dedicated to the representation of LGBTQIA+ folks within the beverage space. ABV Ferments has always been about farmers and fermenters that are underrepresented within the beverage industry. We have been working alongside as sibling organizations and sharing resources for years now and this merge is sustainable for us.
What does this mean? ABV will still function as an events platform within the Co-Fermented network and continue to host events focusing on the intersections of identity, ancestral farming and holistic fermentation.
