We are so honoured to have three Best Commercial nominations at @yorktonfilm !
“SaskTel Cyber Security”, “Conexus: Different Perspective”, both directed by @lolofilm , and “SaskTel Business: Ripple Effect”, directed by @stephen.hall1 . Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!
We are looking forward to attending the festival 📽️
We are so grateful to @screen.sask and @play_creative for recently collaborating with DP @pieterstathis to facilitate our advanced training workshop for Saskatchewan camera crews. We had a very full and fun day of testing the sensor attributes of Alexa MiniLF, RED Monstro and Sony Venice cameras in a controlled lighting setup during the morning. And then diving into our mobile lens cabinet to examine the colour, character, breathing and flare signatures of modern, vintage, spherical and anamorphic lenses from over a dozen manufacturers. We will soon be sharing this lens footage library online as a free community resource.
After lunch, we set up a couple of narrative scenes to practice creative storytelling armed with our new tools and preferences. And we wrapped it all up in the screening room with a comprehensive review of our footage — what a day !
A huge thank you to @play_creative organizers @maekelburger and @allanroeher — our @screen.sask supporters @rghardy and @drcrozier — our wonderful on-screen talent @carolynharris — and DIT extraordinaire @jasonrister for wrangling data and colour management.
We’re already looking forward to our followup !

Driving is a team sport… and we put together the best team to bring this campaign to life.
Over one typical -20ºC Saskatchewan December night, we shot the “SGI: Be Alert” campaign. A lot of our planning was dedicated to keeping everybody warm: we had 3 different warm-up stations, constant tea and coffee, and crew members dedicated to putting coats and blankets over the talent the moment “cut!” was yelled.
Beyond the challenge of the cold, we also closed down a major intersection in Regina—which required a lot of planning and working alongside the community. Once the street was closed, our crew moved fast to efficiently set the lights (with big cranes!), lay our VFX markers, and blow the snow that started falling the moment we said the first “action!”.
We love working with @sgiphotos and bringing the creative vision of @thephoenixgroup.ca to life.
We are very thankful for all the hard work our crew put in this long and cold shooting day!

Directed by @lolofilm for @sasktelbusiness with creative developed by @thephoenixgroup.ca , “SaskTel Business: Eero Wifi” is a sweet and funny spot that highlights some young “entrepeneurs”.

SaskTel Business: Ripple Effect
We started our shoot in a coffee shop, flipping the space for two scenes: a restaurant and a café. We had planned on utilizing Pause’s big windows and letting natural sunshine in, giving the shots the warm look we strove for. But, in true Regina fashion, the weather changed on us last minute and we got a cloudy, rainy day. With lots (!) of lights, hard work form the crew, and a generator truck, we transformed a grey day into sunshine.
Our first day ended at a construction zone. We set up multiple HMI lamps on 65’ lifts to shine through the windows and hazed it up like crazy. Thanks to our amazing cast and crew who pulled it all off!
On day two, our crew gathered at a nearby farm to shoot magic hour. Using a @readyrig and @freeflysystems Movi Pro, paired with @nodofilm Inertia Wheels, we captured the beauty of “the land of living skies” in multiple shots.
Day three had us in Moose Jaw for the final glory aerial.

🎥 2025 Demo Reel 🎥
The last 18 months have marked a significant transition for us with a restructuring and change of ownership. Our amazing clients, agencies, cast, and crew have stuck with us through it all, and we are so grateful for the relationships we have built, and the work we get to create together.
Here’s a collection of some of our favourite memories.
