Report suspicious activity to your credit union right away – the sooner we know about a scam or fake site, the faster we can act to protect you and others.
One major red flag:
👉 If anyone ever coaches you to lie to your financial institution about what money is for, that’s a strong sign of fraud. Contact us and, in many cases, the police immediately.

Some scammers build an online relationship over weeks or months…then flip the conversation to “an amazing investment opportunity.” ❤️💸
Red flags to watch for:
➡️ “Guaranteed” high returns
➡️ Pressure to move money quickly
➡️ Being asked to keep the investment secret
➡️ Seeing “fake gains” in an app or screenshot
If a new connection is asking you to invest, slow down and get a second opinion. Talk to us or a trusted advisor before you send money.

If someone contacts you about the merger and asks you to:

➡️ click a link and enter your banking details…
❌ Stop. Close the message.
