The abrupt halt to USAID funding and withdrawal of U.S. financial support to Ukraine have put critical development and recovery initiatives at risk. But Canadian credit unions have the power to make a difference. [https://lnkd.in/e_YbfcPA] Since 2020, CDF Canada has worked alongside Ukrainian communities to strengthen resilience, including: ✔ Supporting women displaced by conflict through vocational training in the garment industry ✔ Tackling food insecurity by helping displaced individuals regain their livelihoods through sustainable agriculture projects ✔ Ensuring Ukrainian credit unions remain operational—providing communities with access to financing, emergency relief, and economic stability, even in the face of war But now, more than ever, there is more work to do.
