The open beta is available now on the Google Play Store. You can sign up at /apps/testing/com.yingwen.photographertoolspro. I know you cannot click this link but don't worry just search for Planit Pro on the play store. Scroll down and you will see the sign up for beta button.
We added not one, not two but three new pages in this beta. They are Rocket Transit, Airplane Transit and Flight Planning. Among all three pages, the automated alert for the Airplane Transit is probably the coolest feature. You can find the photos I took in the last week, all taken on my balcony.
If you near US rocket launch sites such as Vandenberg, Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center, you can also use the new Rocket Transit feature. By "near", I mean at least 200 miles radius. You can even capture a tiny rocket transiting the sun or the moon if you are lucky.
Then for the Flight Planning, everyone can use it. Let's say you want to capture the milky way on the airplane, or capture a stunning sunrise. Flight Planning can help you find the ideal time and location on the Earth.

Drove 10 hours just for this 4-second clip.
This is the first time using Planit Pro to plan rocket's moon transit. I am still working on this feature. That's why I am so eager to wait for the Moon and try it out. Finally, on December 5th, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 Block 5 while a crescent moon was still above the sky. I used this new feature and found six potential camera locations, ranging from 63 miles to 8 miles. I drove to all six locations during the day and decided to take the shot at a location 20 miles away from the launching pad. It is very foggy these days. I was lucky that for a short window there was no fog. I was able to get the shot. My plan was to have the rocket right in the middle of the Moon but it is off by half the moon size. I don't think my algorithm has any bug. I highly suspect the rocket trajectory is that exact as plan because of unexpected environment factors. If any SpaceX people happened to notice this post, please let me know the reason.

What a lucky day! I had dreamed to capture a fight jet solar transit and the dream comes true today. I was testing the new Lunt 60 double stack unit as it is smaller and more portable for travel. I barely tuned the etalon filter correctly and suddenly noticed a black subject flying by the sun disk. My instinct tells me to press the capture button so I did, but still took me 3 seconds to react. I was so happy to setup SharpCap to have 120 frames buffer beforehand. Otherwise I would have missed the shot. When I play back the ser file, I was thrilled to find out that it was an F35.

Hey cosmic fam! This past weekend I had an unplanned little one night adventure with a friend at the always magical Sajama National Park. Despite some adversities involving weather and moonlight I managed to create what I envisioned and planned.
When checking out how Orion would set over the twins I realized that from a close location from the town the alignment would be amazing with the loop sort of connecting the twins in a very specific and cool way.
All good with my plan but, this time of year and with the moon rising I barely had any time to collect subs of Orion, some clouds and also heavy moonshine (92%) had me a bit stressed but I knew this would happen so I just went ahead and executed my plan with what I had available.
I will definitely redo this same plan again but in much better conditions, I have an upcoming trip to Sajama in april around the new moon, everything will align much better.
Big shout-out to the unforgettable sunset I had that day and the cool photo shoot we did with my friends camper truck.

Buenas amigos por aquí os traigo una de esas fotos que tenía muchísimas ganas de tener , se trata De la Torre de control del aeropuerto , alineado con las torres de madrid y con media luna .

Decir que la hora no fue la mejor , foto realizada de un solo disparo , el cual me costó la vida dejarla así , lo más complicado y laborioso , fue dar detalle a las torres , para separarlas del cielo , mucho trabajo , pero creo que mereció la pena , qué opináis ?
