On Sydney and Devin’s discovery call, they described their vision as vintage, tropical, and Asian Fusion. Honestly, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but they absolutely 100/10 delivered. Their two day wedding celebration at The Pine in Charlotte felt less like a wedding and more like stepping into another world entirely. The entire weekend was overflowing with laughter, movement, music, and energy. Every detail felt intentional. The room felt alive. Their guests understood the assignment in the best possible way, and the atmosphere was electric from beginning to end. One of the speeches described Sydney and Devin perfectly. Their friend shared that whenever they walk into a room, they carry celebrity energy. The kind of presence that draws people in effortlessly. And somehow, the fact that their first date was at Waffle House makes their story even better. From late night waffles to taking the world by storm together. There are very few weddings where I truly feel transported somewhere else while documenting it, but this was one of them.
