An urban Indigenous woman of Quinault, Yaqui, and mixed European settler lineage, Marlayna is the Director of Makeup for Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week and the CEO and Director of @hyperelations , as well as Co-Founder of @hypechocolate.co — blending community empowerment with innovative product development. 🍫
With over 20 years of experience as a celebrity makeup artist, hairstylist, and graphic/web designer, Marlayna also teaches at @blancheworld .
Through her trauma-informed wellness and reiki practice @thereikigaia , Marlayna also continues to foster holistic mentorship, cultural reconnection, and representation for Indigenous creatives across industries. 🌿✨
