Originally from Korea, Hailey @haileyparkmakeup relocated to Canada nine years ago to pursue her passion for makeup, training at Blanche Macdonald. Now represented by Richard Models’ Artists division @rmartists , she’s worked alongside brands including NARS, Makeup by Mario, and Drunk Elephant. Her work emphasizes clean, radiant skin, defined structure, and intentional detail, ranging from effortless natural looks to more sculptural, expressive makeup.

From a Managerial role in the hospitality industry, to stepping into the profession he always felt pulled toward, Pro Hair student Jack Meighan made a career shift at 28.⁠ ⁠ Just four months into the program, he’s already working on fashion shoots and connecting with the Vancouver Fashion Week hair team.⁠ ⁠ “I moved to Canada from London, England when I was 20 years old with no clear pathway. I worked my way up to being a General Manager, but I’ve always had a hidden passion for hair and one day I chose to dive head first into it. When I first started at Blanche Macdonald I felt seen and felt comfortable for the first time in years. Like I could finally express a side of myself I didn’t even fully know was there. Calla Syna Dreyer, Blanche Macdonald Global Makeup graduate and industry veteran, was credited as Makeup Department Head on We Were Liars, the Prime Video adaptation of E. Lockhart’s bestselling psychological thriller We Were Liars.⁠ ⁠ Her career spans major film and television productions, including The Flash, Peacemaker, Wilderness, Supernatural, and Fringe, reflecting her versatility and long-standing impact in the industry.

New tech, homage, and adaptation are all hallmarks of a killer creative project. Adriana Ariza @horrorglamfx , a current student in our Global Makeup Program, took her airbrush final to the next level by conceptualizing and 3D printing her own custom mask and weaponry to create this exceptional Female Predator Warrior.⁠ ⁠ Under the mentorship of her instructors, industry superstars Daemon Cadman @daecadman and Jennifer Little @artistjenniferlittle , Adriana developed the professional airbrushing and conceptual techniques required to bring a character of this scale to life. Chloe Duncan’s debut collection for CLDCMNTY didn’t exactly whisper down the Vancouver Fashion Week runway. It came out roaring - loud, anarchic and deliberate, fully its own thing.
