The beauty, the terrain, the raw force of Nature… it just can’t be explained in words or pictures. We skied Luttinden Couloir + Latræva Couloir in one day, two icons in one go. Probably one of the best ski days of my life! If you think I’m floating it’s because I am 🤤 Truly happy

Still trying to make sense of everything I experienced in Angola. Every assignment I work on is a little different, but in this case, there was no specific assignment other than “experience this place”… and wow, it definitely was a memorable one. The landscape, the extreme weather, the light… and the people. More images of it will be shared at the right time, but I wanted to leave this here for me to remember. Oh, and for any potential climbers that are looking for their next adventure, don’t hesitate asking @climbangola and @climbingforareason , you won’t be disappointed by this place!

Well, that’s it. The season is over. If you ask me, skiing has many cool things, but my favorite thing about is is sharing cool experiences with friends. And that’s exactly what we’ve done this last week in Tignes.
Skiing spring corn, dancing to the best DJs thanks to @unlimited.festival , working on side projects for new cameras (shhh) or skiing in swimming shorts / bikinis… I couldn’t think of a better crew than this one to make all these things happen.
Honestly, the perfect farewell to an amazing ski season, especially right after coming back from filming in Angola. Thanks for everyone that has been part of it, thanks to my sponsors, my friends and my love @claralopez14 for keeping up with all this! Now to rest the legs and prepare the next (big) adventures!

Angola, just wow 😮💨🇦🇴
Two weeks in this place have been nothing short of incredible, especially seeing the work that has been done by @climbingforareason (and many others) here to connect visiting climbers with the local community.
This has become so much more to me than a filming project. Climbing these iconic domes, experiencing the tropical climate in its full force and meeting the climbing kids from Cumbira has been an experience of a lifetime.
I’ve learnt so much from the kids about Angolan culture, learning about their lives and sharing so many good laughs (they’re REALLY funny!). Plus they climb hard!
Obrigado Djamiroquai, Ferdi, Mateo, Dani, Marisa, Francisco, Menezes and everyone else. You have made us feel right at home

Here’s how i made this thermal imaging on a budget effect using only my phone. You’ve asked for it so here’s the tutorial.
First off, as some of you have already pointed out, this is not real thermal imaging, it’s a much simpler thing used to simulate the effect. Still, I think it looks epic and I’ve seen it in many campaign shoots recently.
It works best on images that have high contrast between the subject and its background, like snowy landscapes
You can use any editing app with curves, I used instagram’s own app called “Edits” as it’s free and works great.
There’s 2 steps to creating this effect, the first is to jump into the curves and invert all points until you get a negative version of the image. Here’s where the magic starts.
The second step is to go to the RGB curves and start playing with them until you get the effect you want.

Few things fill my heart as much as 4 days of spring ski touring, exploring new areas, sleeping in the van and enjoying the simple life. No stress. No emails. Just point at a summit, go check it out and repeat ☺️ made even better with the best company 💙
There’s plenty of snow at altitude, we’ll have a long season this year in the Pyrenees (quality is highly dependent on the time of the day, it goes from icy to sticky in a matter of minutes, but you can get it just creamy enough to enjoy). Once you reach the below 1.800m snow get’s scarce and you need to be creative with line choice 🤣
