Instagram today has turned into a green valley full of May lilies 💚 The summer is getting near and nearer, and so are the fresh florals. Once very popular, a symbol of young and rebirth, and loved by Christian Dior, now nostalgic and the choice of rare perfume connoisseurs, Lilly-of-valley fragrances are disappearing from brands' collections. My absolute favourite day!!! @_naeloves_ puts so much hard work into these perfume swaps and they never disappoint. I had the best time connecting with friends and swapping perfumes, chatting and basically just hanging out with good people and great smells!! I also was lucky enough to win Lull (Ludlow) by @gabar and I met the amazing @phwaysaye CEO of Gabar and she was a dream. ❤️❤️ spent time with some fab people down the pub and took some bangers home. I have been after gold juice from @borntostandout.official since I smelled it in Harrods last year and LOVE hidden vibes by @noise.scent - as always an excellent day. A Saturday morning well spent on a beautiful @perfumewalks with @calajperfume right in the heart of Soho ☀️ Bathed in sunshine and guided by the ever-wonderful Olga @perfumedaze we explored scent in such a unique and immersive way pairing fragrances with the stories and history woven into the streets around us. Having Flavius Calaj with us made it all the more special; hearing firsthand about the inspirations, technical craft, and personal stories behind the fragrances added so much depth to the experience. There were so many standouts, but Panther Fangs truly spoke to my taste; smoky, hypnotic, and wrapped in an animalic jasmine that just hits perfectly. And of course, Gym Rat (also a star at London’s Niche Show) made its presence known; clean, metallic musk with serious staying power. We wrapped up the walk with a shot of palinka; sweet, potent and the perfect ending to a memorable morning. Noroc! 🥂 A heartfelt thank you to Olga, who always goes above and beyond and to Flavius for such a generous and inspiring experience. A day off spent well opening the boxes full of forgotten perfumes and finding real treasures! ✨✨✨ These are the fragrances worthy of a queen or a king, in my humble opinion. They have several ingredients in common: amber vanilla musk incense cloves rose tuberose saldalwood All very opulent, rich and precious drops, nothing fresh or tropical.
