At the 2026 Skoll World Forum, Richard Gere (@richardgere @gerefoundation ) joined Project Dandelion (@projdandelion ) Co-Founder and Skoll Board member Pat Mitchell (@patmitchellmedia ) to discuss his new film, Wisdom of Happiness. The film shows us a timeless truth: happiness is always possible, even in the midst of uncertainty. This powerful message of hope is delivered by Nobel Peace Prize winner Tenzin Gyatso, known to billions around the world as the Dalai Lama. With disarming clarity and deep humanity, he calls each of us to help create a world where compassion is activated as our strongest force for change, and where happiness is within reach for us all. Project Dandelion is a global campaign with a simple premise and a big promise: Connect Women for Catalytic Actions As one of the founders of Project Dandelion, I am pleased to share some reflections on what we observed and responded to in 2024 and how we envision our work in the new year. We’ve spent 2024 proving something powerful: the appetite for meaningful action at the intersection of climate and nature has never been greater. As we close one year and step into the next, it’s natural to pause and take stock. What have we accomplished? What do we need to prioritize in the year ahead? This is about what we can do together. It’s about connecting the people and resources needed to tip the scales toward a livable, just world. Read more below about our plans for 2025, how you can get involved, and how you can support Project Dandelion. (link in bio) Many thanks to all of the Dandelions (more than 10,000 pinned!) who made 2024 such a productive year of connection, visibility and action. This work has never been more urgent, and it has never been more hopeful. 📸 Project Dandelion cofounders @rondacarnegie , @hafsatkind & Pat Mitchell; Dandelion pins; Mary Robinson & @sara.omic ; Hafsat & @cataescobarr ; @hindououmar (center); Susan Marx & Mary Robinson; @algore ; Hafsat & Pat; with @guajajarasonia , Minister of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil; cofounders with @tiffanyshlain at NYC Climate Week.

My friend’s podcast, ‘Women Beyond Walls’, has had one of its episodes nominated for a Webby Award — one of the most prestigious awards in digital media. The nominated episode features an extraordinary woman named Pamela Winn. Pamela was pregnant when she was incarcerated in the US. She was shackled during transport, fell, and had a miscarriage. She was then placed in solitary confinement. When she was released, she turned that unimaginable experience into action — founding RestoreHER, an organisation fighting state by state to ban the shackling of pregnant women and restore the rights of women impacted by incarceration. Women Beyond Walls are up against major media giants — CBS, ABC — and a lot of ‘true crime’ sensationalism with a $0 marketing budget and 30 hours left to vote! The People’s Voice Award is decided entirely by public vote, which means every single share genuinely makes a difference. The vote link is: 👉vote.webbyawards.com/PublicVoting#/2026/podcasts/individual-episode/crime-justice And if you’d like to listen to Pamela’s episode and find out more about the not-for-profit who create the podcast, Women Beyond Walls, you can look here: 🎧womenbeyondwalls.org/pamela
