The
@theelders_org , founded by Nelson Mandela in 2007, are an independent group of global leaders working for peace, justice, human rights, and a sustainable planet, currently chaired by
@juanmanuelsantos , Former President of Colombia and Nobel Peace Laureate, with,
@graca_machel_mandela the first Education Minister of Mozambique, serving as Deputy Chairperson.
In her closing remarks, Mary Robinson, Former Chairperson of the Elders and Former President of Ireland, reminded us of Kofi Annan’s words, “You are never too young to lead, and you are never too old to learn.”. A simple but powerful reminder of why intergenerational dialogue matters so much, especially in the world we are shaping today.
