It was a great place to grow up, but as teennager I swore I was gonna move away, and never come back 😅😅 Right at 18 I left for college and lived all over until age 26...family stuff did bring me back, but I have never been happier to be back 💓 In those 8 years that I was gone, Elk Grove changed so much, and so many fun things were added...it made really appreciate the city so much more! From restaurants, breweries, wineries, over 90 different parks, a casino, shopping centers, fun community events and so many amazing small local owned businesses! Plus we're just a short drive to Lodi and Downtown Sacramento! If you love wine slushies and paddle boarding you're going to want to save this! 🎉🍷 @valensinvineyard is less than 20 mins from Elk Grove and it is the coolest winery, because you can go paddle boarding 😍😍 I felt like I was on a tropical vacation, with my wine slushies out on the water 🌴 It is such a fun place to hangout with friends, they host so many different types of events...they even have glow paddle (paddle boarding at night) You're going to definitely want to visit them this summer and especially since they're super close to Elk Grove! Every birthday is not just a birthday, but another diabetes milestone for me 💙💙✨️✨️ Diabetes sucks so bad not gonna lie, but I've learned to still try to make the most out of life despite having it 🙏💙✨️ There's alot of behind the scenes work I have to do living with diabetes...to pretty much do anything...but that is just my "normal " Super grateful for technology, insurance, and the support I have from friends /loved ones when it comes to navigating life with diabetes.
