How do we focus on collective transitions out of the colonial-modern period? How can we recover, reclaim, and reinvent cultural practices, creativity, agentic responsibility, and our very forms of consciousness? What comes after "art"? Spring 2025 sessions will involve "theoretical dramaturgies" (scores for thinking and theorizing together) which re-phrase, re-frame, and re-iterate such inquiries, particularly in relation to "biological" vs. "cultural" senses of sex and gender, de-alienation and "settler surrender," and the role of doxastic logics (belief systems) in collective self-recognition. PPL was a physical lab site for 7 years and the collective has made over a dozen “operas of operations,” including Embarrassed of the (W)Hole (operating manual published by Ugly Duckling Presse, 2023).
