Giving a cheque to headmistress Mrs Hancock today, for renovations to Hatherop state primary school. This sum was raised from my November performance in the Wyvern Theatre Swindon, but HUGE thanks go to all who helped, organised, donated great prizes, and raised over £27,500.
The incredible @pamayrestherealthing introduces the next book in her Animal Stories collection, I Am Dandy the Dormouse, beautifully illustrated by @nicolaobyrneillustration . Out 19th March!
Join Dandy the dormouse on his adventures high up in the trees in this delightful, rhyming story by bestselling poet Pam Ayres.
Written with the help and advice of the @woodlandtrust and bursting with natural facts – like how dormice leave a unique, neat mark on every hazelnut they eat – with an extra information spread at the end. The perfect read for curious young nature-lovers.

In honour of World Rivers Day, “Shitcreek River” — a poem by Pam Ayres, set to music by George Fenton and performed by Natalie Dunne — has been released to champion the protection of our precious waterways.
Help give our rivers the voice the airwaves can’t. 🌊

Did you know hedgehogs often walk a mile a night? 🦔 💛Their sweet little legs are surprisingly speedy and nimble! September is a great time to start getting a hedgehog house ready in your garden as in October they will be looking for somewhere comfy for their hibernation 🦔🛌💤 These illustrations are part of one of my all-time favourite projects, 'The Last Hedgehog' by #nationaltreasure Pam Ayres published by @panmacmillan and a #sundaytimesbestseller for @pamayrestherealthing #hedgehog #hedgehogcommunity #britain #countryside #poet #drawing #illustration #illustrator
