Celebrations in the office today following The Musical Vegetable Patch winning the Art of Piano Education Award for Printed Contemporary Sheet Music. 🏆🌱 There was carrot cake, of course. Sir Edward Elgarlic and Master Mozartichoke also insisted on organising an open-top tractor parade around the boardroom under the careful supervision of Miss Baroccoli. Normal publishing standards will resume shortly.

Next up, the RPS Inspiration Award, supported by @stainerandbell . It recognises remarkable non-professional music-makers and those who work with them, right at the heart of the UK's musical life. Open to public vote, over 6000 people had their say! The nominees are: - Bradford Accordion Band @bradfordaccordionband - Cantorion Llandrindod - Kirkcaldy Orchestral Society @kos_fife - Sean Chandler and Shepherd Brass Band @mrseanchandler @shepherdbrassband The winner of the 2026 RPS Inspiration Award is Kirkcaldy Orchestral Society. 'A treasured jewel for the people of Fife, welcoming players of all ages and stages... Alongside rousing concerts, they annually present composition projects in local schools, encouraging students to get creative.
