We’re hitting the road!
Just a few more days until AMMAZZA! is in your hands. This book took ten years, three tries, and brings together the people, places, and experiences that have shaped the way I cook. I can’t wait to share it with you.

Only a few slots left to join us next Wednesday, May 6th for this intimate dinner with winemaker @lorenzo_scavino_azelia of the renowned Barolo estate AZELIA. Link in bio to book now.
We will be showcasing their newly released 2021 Barolo annata as well as the single-vineyard wines from Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d’Alba alongside a 5-course tasting menu of seasonal dishes, such as Duck Rillettes Crostino with Chrysanthemum Greens & Kumquat and Braised Lamb Shank with Fennel, Sambuca & Mustard Frills.
To conclude the dinner, we will serve the 2014 vintage of Azelia’s Barolo Riserva Bricco Voghera, which has been heralded as one of the most compelling wines in Azelia’s repetoire, with a striking inner sweetness as well as silky tannins per Vinous. “We selected the Bricco Voghera specifically for the production of a Barolo Riserva. Here the vines are among the oldest in Serralunga d’Alba. The bunches are extremely small, the yield extremely low, and the grapes reach at maturation an extraordinary concentration.” - Luigi Scavino
It’ll be an unforgettable evening celebrating special wines, delicious food and intimate conversation.
Osteria Mozza is proud to host Lorenzo Scavino, owner of the renowned Barolo estate, Azelia. We will be showcasing their newly released 2021 Barolo annata as well as the single-vineyard wines from Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d’Alba. These terroirs celebrate the darker, deeper style of Barolo and we’ve prepared a tasting menu to match. Link in bio to book now.

Of all the ways the @beardfoundation has generously honored me over the years (decades!), the lifetime achievement award means the most because I have not lived this professional life alone. So far from it. I cannot wait to share this moment with the hundreds of chefs, servers, managers, dishwashers, valet attendants, and everyone who’s clocked in with me for the last 45 years. Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners. It’s an honor to continue to cook beside you.
A new spritz, just in time for this heat wave. Meet the Laid Back Spritz.
We use our house made tangerine oleo saccharum to add intense citrus flavors to a base of Still Gin, Cocchi Americano, and Prosecco with a rosemary garnish.
Still Gin is new to our spirit offerings, with a flavor profile of hand peeled mandarin, grapefruit, orange and lemon with a hint of jasmine and rose petal mid palate. Finishing with traditional juniper and a kick of coriander and black pepper. Be sure to stop by and try it.
