Long confined to roofing and street furniture, composite cement (Eternit) has remained in the shadows.
A discreet, almost forgotten material, yet surprisingly rich: dense, resistant, stable, impervious to cold, rain, wind, and insects. A material made to last, requiring no maintenance or fatigue.
It is from this little-explored density that the Sisyphe project draws its essence.
Because density also promises a precise sound. Like the MDF wood found in high-fidelity speakers, but here, made to withstand the outdoors.
In Sisyphe, composite cement becomes an acoustic chamber. It doesn’t resonate: it supports, it anchors.
Sisyphe is a speaker designed for the outdoors.
In a garden, on a terrace, or at the edge of a path, it can remain. Anchor itself. Blend in.
Its soft shape, rounded like a pebble, seems born from the landscape. It disappears visually, leaving only the trace of the sound.
