One year later :p process pictures of the castle, full collab project between the two of us. @mayadjiji We designed, built and glazed together ❤️we did the main structure together and then each of us detailed one half of the castle’s details, and the final piece brings our distinct styles, symbols, and motifs into conversation with one another. Although our inspirations came from very different cultural backgrounds, the forms and color palette blend so naturally that it’s difficult to tell where one person’s work ends and the other begins. Built in a very long two days session, and 3 days of glazing.

partir, alma y cuerpo, partir Three piece ceramic sculpture on view this weekend at the @publiclandstore booth at @atriumfair . I made this piece last year as a part of “This Castle Isn’t Big Enough For the Two of Us” two person show with my dear friend @mayadjiji ❣️❣️❣️at @yourmoodprojects . I’ve been dealing with chronic pain for the past seven years, and it’s been a long and crazy ride learning how to navigate life and keep on going despise the flare ups. I’ve wanted to encapsulate the physical and emotional states my body goes thru in a tangible way, and that’s how this piece and others presented at the show were born.
