New Scottish dream pop group Radhika (
@radh__1ka__ ), led by Radhika Meera Dade, have announced their debut album Cine-Pop due 22nd May via
@glassmodernrecs .
Cine-Pop is a collection of songs that flow gently and easily in and out of each other - a suite, a short film, everything an album should be.
The record spans generations and continents, and features appearances from a number of Radhikaâs family, friends and esteemed Glasgow musicians, including Mitch Mitchell (The Pastels), Gerard Love (Lightships/ ex-Teenage Fanclub), and Tracyanne Campbell (Camera Obscura).
Cine-Pop is the world through the eyes of a dazzling young Indo-Scottish woman, blissfully pairing Radhikaâs soaring voice with her love of all kinds of music from Bollywood to Goth Pop to The Glasgow School.
