On Diamond (@ondiamond ) continued Season XIX, led by Lisa Salvo (vocals) with Scott McConnachie (guitar, synth), Myka Wallace (drums), Jules Pascoe (bass), and Duré Dara (percussion). Based in Melbourne/Naarm, the group’s practice draws from alternative pop, folk, and experimental song, shaped by a close-knit ensemble dynamic, balancing structured songwriting with exploratory treatments of texture and arrangement. Drawing on the expanded palette of their latest release ‘Melon on the Vine’, the set centred voice, rhythm, and atmosphere in careful proportion. Salvo’s vocals carried a quiet warmth, moving between direct melodic lines and expressive nuance, while the collective navigated tone and space with precision, maintaining the ensemble’s cohesive connection throughout. 📸 @jordankmunns 💡 @visitandre

🌹 This coming Saturday 8th Nov! Our album lauuuunnnnchhhhh. Hope to see you there, with the ever amazing Oliver Mann, avant folk genius and wonderful person, who rarely plays solo, opening the night. 🎈 Yay! So thrilled that Melon on the Vine is Feature Album on the one and only @pbsfm this week!
