In case you don’t know who @gabormatemd is , he wrote a book called “The Myth Of Normal”. Gabor was only approx. 11 Months old when his own mother handed him off to a woman she did not know in order to save his life when the Nazi’s invaded Hungary 🇭🇺 during the early stages when Hitlers people were ordered to round up Jews. At 11 months old this was one of @gabormatemd early childhood traumas.
Thank you to the following for taking the time to post this and help others with their new found trauma.

‘How is what’s happening in Gaza even possible?’
@gabormatemd speaks after a free virtual screening of @sevenjewishchildren with the film’s director @omrijava and the co-director of @israelismfilm@erinaxelman
‘This is an article in Haaretz this morning, the Israeli newspaper. Rasha al-Ar’eer, a young Gazan girl, survived the bombing of her home in June last year. The experience prompted her to write a last will. This is a child writing her last will. The experience prompted her to write her last will on a piece of paper she kept in her pocket.
‘She wrote in red ink. Please do not cry for me. It hurts me to see your tears. Give my clothes to the needy. Divide my things up. The boxes of beads, the pocket money, the books, the toys. Among my cousins. Please don’t yell at my brother Ahmed. I hope you will respect my wishes.
‘On September 3rd 30th, the family’s house was bombed again. Russia was killed, and so was Ahmed. She was 10, he was 11.’
Omri responds:
‘We must learn to accept the trauma that we have received and burdened generationally and not allow that to shut our eyes to the trauma of others. The fact that we’ve experienced this pain should mean that we open our eyes and see the pain that others are feeling and that we care about it and that we want to change it, not the other way around.’

Very important Voice of @drgabormatepoland , @gabormatemd , @israelismfilm co-director @erinaxelman , and @sevenjewishchildren director @omrijava
Gabor Mate already was in Lodz at the @fotofestiwal with his great speach,
Erin Axelman also was at @centrumdialogu with The Israelism Film...
So now... maybe Omri Dayan 👁 and his "Seven Jewish Children Film: A film for Gaza", based on a 2009 play of @caryl.chu Caryl Churchil "Seven Jewish Children: A play for Gaza"
We Need To Satnd Together and Łódź with its rich multicultural history and truly once Jewish City is the right place to host the screenings like that.
Never Again means Never Again for Everyone!
