We had the absolute honor of teaming up with Ryan from
@oldstandbybrewing on a very special Brewlanthropy collaboration — a project built on the idea that together, we can brew some good!! Every ingredient in this beer was generously donated so that 100% of the proceeds can go directly to a local nonprofit of our choosing.
For this brew, we chose to support
@marionpolkfoodshare an organization that works every day to bring people together to end hunger at its root causes. Through their network of partners and programs across our community, they help provide millions of meals each year to families in need, and we are incredibly proud to support their mission! ❤️
Huge thanks to our amazing donation partners:
@lincmalt and
@coldstreammalt for the grain!
@imperialyeast for the yeast!
@yakimavalleyhops for the hops and extract!
Now for the beer!! 🍻
Canned Brewed IPA is a classic West Coast IPA coming in at 6.5% ABV and 50 IBU. We bittered with Chinook, layered Centennial Lupomax in the whirlpool, and finished with Eclipse hop extract for dry hopping. The result is a bold, expressive aroma with bright citrus, pine, and a touch of dank character. The bitterness is pleasantly mild while the hop aroma really pops, creating a beautifully balanced West Coast IPA.
Every pint of Canned Brewed helps put canned food on the table for our neighbors. Thank you for drinking beer that gives back!
Keep an eye out for our benefit concert happening in the
@thebadspacesalem on Sunday the 14th. This concert also supports
@marionpolkfoodshare and marks the official release of Canned Brewed IPA!! Available in cans December 18th! Cheers! 🍻
