Introducing redux 🔁 A rotating flea market for things that deserve another chapter. We’re setting up inside @objects.re – a curated vintage furniture store that already believes in second lives – for a weekend of rewearing, restoring, rediscovering. It started out at @sufzz ‘s home, neighbors dropped by, friends lingered, people left with great finds and it was heaps of fun! as promised, the rug catalogue..... I’ve been a lover of rugs for as long as i’ve lived with my parents and then some more. if you come to my family home you’ll see afghan/persian/ turkish rugs, rugs on rugs (layered), berber, a couple of machine made ones (09) and rugs rolled up / folded because they just bought too many. since i’ve started objects i’ve mostly stayed away from rugs because 1) true handmade rugs are expensive, and rightly so. 2) the history behind carpets and rugs was honestly quite overwhelming... how can i offer rugs when i don’t know for sure what i’m putting up? i’m slowly learning and trying to share that knowledge... the most important step for me now is authenticating handmade VINTAGE / ANTIQUE rugs... and im pretty comfortable with that now.... next is the actual history. a lot of what i’ve put together is information from direct sources + googled + claude please bear with the Al language... I’ve only extracted what’s interesting and important. enjoy the rugs! and... rugs are for everyone and for almost every occassion! ... a little dirt and dust wouldn’t hurt ya....

Produced by Fredericia Stolefabrik (attributions visible underneath the chair). Extremely comfortable chair in great condition.
