We are very excited to release our next project, Adaptations Vol 1 : Richard Stoker. Stoker was a British composer who had a vast career creating symphonies and performing at concerts. This compilation album has been composed by talented youth sampling Richard Stokers amazing discography. The album releases on the 19/12/25.
✨ We did it ✨ Just over 20-miles from Sheffield Train station, out towards the peaks via the Porter Brook Trail, round Burbage Edge and across Stanage Edge, through Redmires Reservoir and the enchanted Wyming Brook and through the Rivelin Valley and back into the City, ending at the fine watering hole of the @tapsheffield
It was a magical (and challenging) day with an amazing group of walkers who collectively raised £1869 for The Under the Bridge Project.
The fundraising link will remain open for a week if anyone wants to contribute - all money raised goes directly towards supporting weekly sessions for our project.

Open to all males aged 18+, the Under the Bridge project explores the positive mental health impacts of spending time in Blue Spaces. Our weekly program delivered in, on, and around water, features Kayaking, Wild Swimming, Walks, Residentials, Creative Arts , Well-being and Music making - all programmed to bring together males promoting togetherness, strengthening support circles, and developing confidence.

On Saturday 9th May, I’ll be taking on a 20-mile circular walk from Sheffield into the Peak District and back to raise funds for the Under the Bridge Project, a men’s mental health project that means so much to me. This walk is about more than the miles — it’s about raising awareness, starting conversations, and helping men know they don’t have to face things alone.

An absolutely beautiful session down at Attenborough Nature Reserve on Tuesday evening, as @martinwrightart returned to delivered his second session with Under the Bridge.
🎯 The Goal: Learning about composition sketches focusing on engaging lines and shapes. People were free to follow guidance or just come along and do some nature journaling.
We walked through the beautiful landscape of Attenborough Nature Reserve, Sketching, Nature Journalling and Spotting birds Along the Way - the perfect session ❤️

We are looking for 18-25-year-olds, living in Nottingham, who would like to apply to our upcoming ‘Behind the Scenes’ program, which will join the wider national Youth Music Industry Connect Coalition
‘The Industry Connect Coalition’ is a collaborative initiative that brings together key players across the creative industries to drive long-term change. The Coalition aims to break down barriers to entry in the music and wider creative industries, creating more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable career pathways for young people from underrepresented backgrounds.
Focusing on local music industry career pathways, our program will offer successful applicants the opportunity to access music mentorship, attend work-experience placements and realise their own funded projects.

It’s pretty hard to put into words just how proud we are of every single student from the Beatknots Music Academy. Last Friday we had around 15 performances, some of which were young people’s first ever time on stage. The energy, the talent and the delivery was pretty emotional 🥲
