@control.sheffield party, which regularly puts on some of the leanest, meanest, heads down parties full of big, bad electro clobber. Some of the party’s previous guest include Reptant, Radioactive Man, Anna Wall, James Shinra, Sybil, The Hacker, Freakenstein, Lukas Wigflex, Jerome Hill… bloody hell it goes on and on and on. Softi and Katya on this weekend as well if you’re around the seven hills.
This tin city heavy-hitter joins one of Nottingham’s most handsome and charming soft lads for a night of steel wrapped up in lace, and Berre’s pork sandwiches stuffed full of ibuprofen. It’s a regional thing. They might be kept apart by Worksop, Mansfield and Chesterfield, but they’re brought together by their shared love of that big, beautiful thing we call tech house.
Records will be spun, pints will be drunk and headaches will be had in the morning.
As I’m writing this I’ve realised I’ve not even made an RA page for it yet. Who cares, I’ve done enough parties now to know most of you are rocking up on the door.
