This drawing is on view at the Brooklyn Museum as part of The Brooklyn Artists Exhibition, open until January 26, 2025. I’ll be at the museum to meet with those who would like to say hello tomorrow, Saturday, December 28th, from 11am-2pm and also on January 18th from 12-2pm.
This piece, based on Bad Company’s self-titled album, is part of a series of large-scale drawings inspired by my record collection…but the source really becomes a site for geological erosion and playful decay.
The show at the Brooklyn Museum represents a fantastic cross-section of work from the communities that encompass the borough. Come by and say hello if you find yourself in the area.

I’m happy to be donating this piece to Tiger Strikes Asteroid’s first benefit exhibition. Purchasing this artwork, or any of the other stellar available works, will help fund TSA’s exhibitions across their 5 locations, keeping this vital alternative art ecosystem alive and thriving. As a founding member of Tiger Strikes Asteroid New York, this cause is close to my heart. Don’t miss tomorrow’s event - purchase tickets and more info via link in bio.
Why this matters: While the art world continues to consolidate resources and opportunities, TSA creates essential spaces for artists to connect, exhibit, and build community outside traditional gatekeepers. We act as a much-needed counterweight to the market-driven art world.

A tiny bit late in sharing this exciting news: I am thrilled to be included in this epic exhibition @brooklynmuseum . So much gratitude to @mickalenethomas for her support of my work, and for placing it in such good company at a museum that I have long admired.
Congratulations and many thanks to the Brooklyn Museum for its 200 years - I can’t think of a better way to celebrate.

This painting is based on a Dave Magadan baseball card, and was part of my show at @transmitternyc , curated by @carlgunhouse .
I’m as interested in the relative anonymity of these figures as I am in their specific history… but I will tell you that Magadan took over first base for Keith Hernandez around 1991, and actually played really well for that one year before becoming a journeyman of sorts. I honestly barely remembered him, but that’s in a way what the painting is about.
What I did not realize was that Magadan was also one of the greatest college hitters in the history of the game. I’ve included an excerpt from a recent article about Magadan by Mitch Light (last image).
