grateful to the federal ministry for arts, culture, civil service and sport @kunstkulturministerium for the invitation to contribute to this year’s outstanding artist awards 2025 for art, culture and media @mak_vienna . the invitation felt especially resonant following my receipt of the outstanding artist award for experimental fashion design in 2024 and the artistic exchange that began there.
a three-act performative work developed for the ceremony, exploring ballroom dress as a choreographed form shaped by ritual and collective memory, in collaboration with lino eckenstein, founder of @cruelbehavior_projects , and its performers.
