A star has fallen to earth: Clara Moroz, born in time for Christmas. Both her and her mum are doing very well, and Phoebe is the perfect mother. A gift of love beyond measure, we're smitten. Merry Christmas!
Microtonal / Just Intonation Guitar?
Nicholas Moroz introduces his customised Fender Telecaster, featuring a special fretboard for just intonation tuning,
Originally developed by composer Lou Harrison in the 1980s for a steel string resonator guitar, more recently Lawrence Dunn included the guitar for his brilliant piece 'Set of Four' which Explore Ensemble has performed several times.
This one-off Telecaster finds a new home in Catherine Lamb's new work for voices and ensemble 'dying your dying to come closer', supporting her sound world of deep rich just intonation harmonies.
Hear it IRL this Saturday 1 Nov at Milton Court Concert Hall, part of our Barbican Centre concert!

Huge thanks to the artists and performers who made these recordings, and a big shout out to friends and family — especially Phoebe — for supporting me in setting up this new baby alongside another expected baby and house renovation in the mix 🙃
Head to Bandcamp now for your copies whether physical and digital, and keep your eyes peeled for some merch coming next for everyone who orders in October (UK only special).
Cheers, Nick
