Dearest people, Exciting times. Another beautiful work is on its way, a sound art collection titled "Devet" — produced by the rising London‑based label @fluuung , under the skillful direction of @rcmlondon professor and composer @nicholas.moroz . The album is now available for pre‑order and will be released on June 5th, 2026, as a limited‑edition CD. > /album/devet Please have a look at the album's preview and read the full liner notes at the label's website: /releases/007 // FLUNG is proud to present “Devet” by Manja Ristić: a sonic tracing of cosmologies, thresholds, and elemental memory, centred on the symbolism of the number nine as a marker of completion, passage, and spiritual architecture. Crafted from environmental sound, improvisational sequences, and site‑specific interventions, the collection unfolds as a form of sonic storytelling — an exploration of nature’s bold framing of our existence. ASTEROID* by Raphaël Languillat is released on Friday 1 May for Bandcamp Friday! Four pieces float in from the void, rendering celestial debris and deep-space signals as volatile synthesiser improvisations. Languillat approaches the synthesiser as both instrument and environment, allowing it to expand and collapse in on itself, generating dense strata of interference poised between control and disintegration. There’s a spatial logic at play — not ambient, but orbital. Tones drift and collide like matter caught in gravitational flux, punctuated by sudden flares of distortion and rich spectral turbulence. The reference points feel extra-terrestrial: telemetry gone rogue, deep-space scans corrupted in a vacuum, the silence between bursts of light. Released as a limited edition cassette designed by @studiodezentrale , available exclusively via Bandcamp. Announcing ASTEROID* by Raphaël Languillat, who presents four synthesiser improvisations that channel celestial debris and deep-space signals as layers of sonic flux between distortion and drones. Recorded in 2021 during a period of enforced isolation and left dormant until now, these pieces carry the residue of that suspended time — hermetic, airless, and unstable. The four transmissions highlight Languillat’s self-modulating Korg MS-20 — a closed-circuit system driven by feedback and fracture. Released on Friday 1 May exclusively on Bandcamp for Bandcamp Friday as a a limited edition cassette designed by Studio Dezentrale. Flung is proud to present its fifth release and first vinyl LP: Okkyung Lee’s Signals, featuring Explore Ensemble, out on 6 March. Read more below and listen to the preview available on Bandcamp (link in bio) A major new work by cellist and composer Okkyung Lee with London’s Explore Ensemble, Signals dissolves boundaries between live performance, studio construction, and electroacoustic illusion. Originally premiered by Lee and Explore Ensemble in 2024, Lee creates a hybrid live/studio record by taking recordings from performances in Leuven, Huddersfield, and Luxembourg, and restructuring them with additional layers created and edited in the studio. Lee’s hybrid construction blurs the line between real and imagined acoustics, where the listener’s sense of small and huge, near and far, dark and bright, all combine in seemingly impossible ways, restlessly morphing between materialisation and dissolution. The album unfolds in seven sections that flow continuously; one for each member of the ensemble where they take on a solo role, plus Lee’s own section. Every section creates a distinct environment that tests the boundaries between instrument and performer. A release that feels both self-interrogating and outward-looking, Signals folds Lee’s personal language together with collective form.
