On April 15th, Door 74 welcomes @quinaryhk for an evening that bridges two continents through craft and hospitality! Over the past decade, Quinary has established itself as one of Asia’s most respected cocktail institutions. Regularly featured in Asia’s 50 Best Bars and internationally recognised for its pioneering approach to sensory mixology, Quinary has consistently pushed the boundaries of how cocktails can be experienced without ever losing sight of warmth and service. Their philosophy blends science, texture, aroma and flavour into a seamless guest experience that feels both precise and deeply human. For one night, that perspective arrives in Amsterdam. The day opens with a masterclass exploring sensory mixology, creative innovation and how Asian bar culture positions itself within the global landscape. This “Cocktails, Tapas, and Friends” event at @stregisbarbangkok was a perfect blend of drinks, food, and music—an elevated Sunday experience that felt both vibrant and refined. Featuring guest bars from Hong Kong, Quinary and Tell Camellia, this wasn’t just a typical bar takeover, but more like a cross-city exchange of creativity and flavors. From the very first cocktail, you could immediately taste the level of craftsmanship. Each drink was thoughtfully balanced and beautifully presented, showcasing why these bars are ranked among Asia’s 50 Best. Paired with tapas curated by the culinary team, every bite complemented the drinks perfectly—small in portion, yet full of flavor and surprises. The atmosphere was another highlight. Team: Green Flag 🟩 One of the highlights of @taiwancocktailcamp was the organized team challenge. An adaptation of the video game Overcooked, TCC had their version of Overbartending. A friendly competitive and un-serious game bringing a lighthearted take on the craft. At Lin Heung Lau, one of Hong Kong’s oldest teahouses, the Dim Sum Party brought together Quinary, The Opposites, Draftland Hong Kong, and Himkok Oslo in celebration of the World’s 50 Best Bars 2025. The idea was simple but clever: take the city’s most familiar ritual, yum cha, and reinterpret it through the lens of modern cocktail culture. Steam baskets landed beside chilled glasses. Har Gow, Crab Roe Siu Mai and Fried Shrimp Spring Roll were paired with drinks that played on the flavours of tea and herbs. Quinary’s Oolong Tea Collins came alive with Haku Vodka and oolong cordial, while the Green Goblin from Himkok balanced dill vermouth, green apple, absinthe and a touch of wasabi. Draftland’s Strawberry Mojito felt light and playful, while Guk Bou with Roku Gin, chrysanthemum and Pu Erh added a quiet floral depth. There was a sense of organised chaos in the air: chatter from long tables, teapots clattering, servers weaving through trays of dim sum and glassware. It felt like Hong Kong in motion, both familiar and new. By blending dim sum and cocktails, the collaborators turned a morning tradition into a social experiment that made perfect sense.
