The exotic coloration of the most highly prized tulip during tulpenmanie was caused by a virus that infected the flower, leading to a buying hysteria.

The art commission for @crowneplazageelong is up! The commission comprises nine new artworks, reproduced as over 450 framed photographs installed throughout 200 guest rooms and 9 corridors. Working closely with client Plenary and design studio Woods Bagot, this body of work responds directly to native flora planted in the hotel and conference centre gardens. It was a huge commission, one that took place over a 12-month design and production process. Artworks printed by the wonderful @peter_hatzipavlis and framed by the amazing team at @neo_frames . Install documentation by @michellewilliams_photographer .
