Wonderful day back in BA illustration at University of Brighton as a visiting lecturer.
What a lovely day with students, talking about my practice, listening to super inspiring and different stories by other alumni artists, @pippatoole , @maisiecowell@hidavidwilson , looking at students' exciting portfolios, and chatting with them.
Great to see and talk with some international students as well. I was one of them. I remember being often scared to talk during the crits, and many other occasions... but excited at the same time of course!

My in-law, Setsu Matsunaga’s book, was reissued by Amazon at the end of last year! The cover illustration was done by me.
Upon turning 50, Setsu left the sourdough bakery Gakudo that she and her husband had been running together in his care, and went alone to study in London. It’s a lively, heartfelt story about her ups and downs in a foreign country - warm, enjoyable, and very encouraging.💗

Delighted to see my poster promoting Club Ninja, a fantastic show performed @sadlers_wells created by @takeshi.matsumoto and Makiko Aoyama and Robert Howat.
The thrilling, heart-pounding feeling of the ninja in the darkness — along with their cleverness and coolness — was transformed into a playful, contemporary expression using music, rhythm, movement, and shadow. It was full of inspiration, and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more of their future works!
