Our women’s networks have hit their stride, hosting a series of events around NSW, WA, Victoria and Queensland to kick off 2026. From panel discussions to site walks, the events have been shaped by what our people have told us they want from the networks: connection, visibility, and building career confidence. Our networks have also been making a difference behind the scenes, consulting on our global D&I initiatives to make sure they are impactful and resonate with our people. Thanks to all our network members for their efforts creating genuine change for women across the industry👷‍♀️💪

The tree has been craned in, and we have officially topped out at @royalfarwest in Manly! 🌳🏗️ It was a pleasure to welcome Federal Member for Warringah @zalisteggall and Mayor of Northern Beaches Council @sueheins_ to the site to mark the milestone. Now standing at its highest point, the Aurora residential development forms part of the broader Royal Far West Neighbourhood. The mixed use precinct will include public retail, commercial and lifestyle spaces, along with refurbished accommodation for children and families visiting Royal Far West for vital paediatric and allied health services. Delivering Aurora adjacent to Manly Beach required significant dewatering works, with the team removing more than 922 megalitres of water to construct the hydrostatic basement. The project is also delivering a unique and complex façade using a mix of precast elements, glazed ceramic tiles and architectural feature windows. Close collaboration with designers, subcontractors and key stakeholders, supported by multiple full scale prototypes, enabled the team to resolve the building’s distinctive geometry and tilted window design. We look forward to seeing this exciting project reach completion later this year. #builttooutperform

On behalf of the NSW Government, we are delivering highly complex works at the John Hunter Hospital new acute services building, including the installation of three CT machines - one of the most specialised pieces of major medical equipment in a hospital. Working to millimetre‑level tolerances, the program requires meticulous planning, precise coordination and rigorous safety controls. Find out more with a preview behind the hoarding hosted by our Services Engineer (Senior) Amie - take a look! 🚧👀#builttooutperform #nswgovernment #nswhealth

435 Bourke Street has officially topped out, marking a major construction milestone as the 52-level tower reaches its highest point at 215 metres. Now standing tall on Melbourne’s skyline, this moment signals the completion of the structure and a defining achievement for the team. As one of the world’s first solar skin façades continues to wrap the building, innovation and sustainability are continuing to take shape. A huge thank you to the developer @cbusproperty , our project team, consultants and subcontractors for making this milestone possible! 👏 🏗️

Three cheers for our John Hunter Hospital Innovation Precinct team, who have raised more than $370,000 for Jenny’s Place and Sleapy’s Foundation 🎉 Over the past four years, the team and our subcontractors have raised funds through charity golf days and PPE sales, coming together to support two important local organisations. Recently, we presented a cheque for $177,037 to Dawn Walker and Donna George from Jenny’s Place, an organisation that provides direct relief and support to women and children who are experiencing domestic and family violence or homelessness. This donation will help fund psychology services for women and children when they first present to the hospital. The team also raised $205,000 to support Sleapy’s Foundation and its vital work. The foundation is funding the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit courtyard at John Hunter Hospital, and it’s fantastic to see our combined efforts making a positive difference for both the hospital and the wider community. A huge thank you to all our trades, staff and supporters who contributed to this meaningful cause. #builttooutperform

There’s a new tower emerging on the Melbourne skyline, with BLVD at Melbourne Square quickly rising from the ground 🏙️🏗️ Progress on the 74-storey tower is ramping up, with the structure close to reaching the halfway point with the core poured to Level 32. Façade installation is following close behind reaching Level 25, while the internal fit-out is also underway on lower levels of the building. BLVD is the third tower we’ve constructed at Melbourne Square for @oskpropertyau , one of Melbourne’s largest mixed-use precincts. #builttooutperform

Laying the foundations for successful project delivery. 🧱➡️🏗️ We’ve signed an ECI agreement with MODEL for its first two Build to Rent (BTR) projects in Abbotsford, aiming to set a new benchmark for BTR in Australia. MODEL’s Johnston Street project (approx. 240 homes) is set to become Australia’s tallest timber residential building, while the Lithgow Street project (approx.150 homes) will adaptively reuse the 100-year-old landmark, the Schweppes cordial factory, to create a sustainable living hub. Both developments are targeting 6 Star Green Star, 9 Star NatHERS and Certified Passivhaus outcomes, with mass timber and all-electric design central to a low-carbon delivery strategy. The ECI process will help us test ideas, simplify systems and bring a more industrialised approach to delivery - using modularisation and a kit of parts mindset to drive efficiency, reduce waste and improve build quality. #builttooutperform @themodelau

NEXTDC B2 Brisbane Stage 2 is levelling up in Brisbane! ⚡️   Construction has reached Level 3 on the AI-ready data centre, with structure and services advancing concurrently through prefabrication and off-site construction methods. 🏗️Over 300 precast concrete panels will be installed 🏗️12 prefabricated wet‑services (hydraulic) risers are enabling vertical services installation to progress in parallel to the structure.   These rises span levels 3 to 8 and are shared across four trades. Fabricated off site and lifted in two 20‑metre sections, the risers reduce work at height, minimise scaffold interaction and support controlled installation.   A strong example of coordinated delivery improving safety and efficiency as the project continues to progress. #builttooutperform #NEXTDC

We’re thrilled to have been nominated not once… not twice… not three times… but four times for the 2026 Australian Construction Achievement Award (ACAA)! The ACAA recognises Australia’s most complex construction projects, with four Multiplex projects making the shortlist of seven finalists across the country: 📍ECU City Campus, WA 📍New Footscray Hospital, VIC 📍New Sydney Fish Market, NSW 📍Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport Airside, Civil & Pavement Works and Terminal & Specialty Services, NSW (in collaboration with Western Sydney Airport Corporation, Bechtel, CPB Contractors and Acciona) Each project has delivered landmark infrastructure across Australia, spanning Perth’s first inner‑city university, one of Victoria’s largest-ever health investments, Australia’s newest international airport and a world‑class waterfront revitalising Sydney’s seafood industry. We’re hugely proud of each project and the teams that worked tirelessly to bring them to life. May the best project win! 📷 Peter Bennetts (Footscray Hospital) 📷 Tom Roe (New Sydney Fish Market) #EdithCowanUniversity #AusGovInfrastructure @wsiairport @plenarygroup @westernhealthau The new Sydney Fish Market is proudly funded by the NSW Government.

To support the identification and management of high-energy hazards across the industry, we’ve developed a guide to Energy-Based Safety (EBS) and its application to Pre‑Start Meetings and High‑Risk Workshops, together with two practical case studies. EBS is an evidence‑based approach that recognises exposure to energy causes harm, that more energy causes more harm, and that safety is achieved by effectively controlling high‑energy hazards. The guide supports project teams to better identify, prioritise and control high‑energy hazards that have the potential to cause serious injury - outlining how EBS principles can be embedded into both upfront planning activities and daily pre‑start discussions. The case studies demonstrate real‑world application of the Energy Wheel, STKY hazard identification, and the Hierarchy of Energy Control on complex construction activities, like tower crane installation and electrical commissioning. As part of an Enforceable Undertaking accepted by SafeWork NSW, these resources are shared to support industry learning and improve the management of high‑energy hazards on construction projects. Shovels are in the ground, and construction is officially underway at NEXTDC S4 Sydney 🪏👏 The milestone was marked with an official sod turning alongside NEXTDC Group Chief Development Officer Simon Cooper and a smoking ceremony led by Uncle Colin Locke. In the months ahead, the team will install the first of six tower cranes. Tower Crane 1 will be the largest tower crane ever used on a Multiplex site, a Marr M2480D, to support construction of the 350 megawatt data centre. With the team using the latest innovative modular construction methods to accelerate the build, the crane will lift major elements into place, including prefabricated mechanical plantrooms, electrical switch rooms and major services pathways, alongside extensive precast elements. S4 Sydney is the fourth project to be delivered by Multiplex in New South Wales for NEXTDC, and there are exciting times ahead as we bring this AI-ready facility out of the ground! #builttooutperform #NEXTDC
