Sara’s energy is next level and she’s an inspiring gal; talking a bit of theory before guiding us through some powerful breath work and then on to the main event 🧊
So yes, I took my very first ice bath on beautiful Dartmoor with horses looking on like we were all nuts. And I LOVED it 🩵
Buzzed my freezing nips off for the rest of the day, slept like a log afterwards (rare with my peri meno brain) and now seriously considering the purchase of a tin bath for the garden.
Off I pop for a cold shower. Have a great Sunday…

I threw myself into a session with @roam_wild_fitness a few weeks back (strictly for research purposes, naturally) and discovered very quickly that my idea of ‘fairly fit’ and reality are not the same thing 🫠 Thankfully there were emergency energy balls on hand and a cooling dip in the River Dart afterwards 💦
And since I was already on the moors, it would’ve been rude not to swing by @cafe.on.the.green for their famous French toast afterwards. Balance, babes 👌

I sank into a beanbag beneath the immersive dome @themarkethalluk to watch ‘Our Story’ with @davidattenborough and didn’t want it to end.
Think gigantic projections, breathtaking nature footage and full 360° immersion that has you completely transported from Plymouth to the depths of the ocean, rainforest canopies and beyond.
Launched in the week of Sir David’s 100th Birthday, this is one way to celebrate and the good news? It’s running until Sept so plenty of time to add this to your summer hit list.
And if you’ve never been to @realideasorganisation at Market Hall, well what a space! It’s a stunning heritage building with a decent cafe, some co-working spaces and there’s a lovely exhibition running alongside the film marking Our Story too which is well worth arriving early for a nosey around.
Also, watching David Attenborough while lounging on beanbags under a giant dome? Elite behaviour frankly 🙃

Had a proper good nosy around @mount.kelly and left absolutely no stone unturned 👀 From peeking into classrooms and poking my head into the dorms, to eyeing up the Olympic-sized swimming pool (yes REALLY 😮💨) and settling in for a dining experience that was decidedly not your average school canteen affair.
Also managed a good old chinwag with the headmaster and grilled him on all things school life, boarding and beyond 📚✏️
