Pleased to bring the final edition of “My Friend” to the park for a little hi-fi renegade on the super efficient laser sharp @mobius_acoustics ! This time bringing out Acid Camp founder Aaron Davis and Los Angeles Acid Camp representative and resident DJ Ms.Ed for an extended back to back open format DJ set.

Acid Camp is a staple when one is reminiscing on the glory days of daytime parties in LA. Foundational to the techno, house and acid scene, merch and discography is seen far and wide. Putting together a daytime hang with these two selectors representing some real LA history feels full circle, can’t wait to hear what they’ll play for us.
This is a renegade event, we will be setting up in the park in a grove in a slightly deeper zone, put the coordinates in Google Maps and follow the trail to our spot! (34.0885524, -118.1945591)

Ms. Ed is of my favorite DJs in town, with an incredible ear for both hands-in-the-air and head-down grooves.
Both of us felt a little unsure about releasing this mix, as we encountered some major audio issues in the recording. And on top of that, Erika’s USB failed, forcing her to play an unprepared set with back-up music… Shoutout to her for still making it work.
So apologies in advance for the scuffed audio quality. But we’re embracing authentic vulnerability over perfection, and the tunes are still HOT

For those into heady psychedelic techno, we have otodojo - Recursivity, an artfully layered, textural EP. Recursivity is a reflection on inspiration, derivations, cycles of life, environments, and the consequence of time. Scotia joins to contribute a jackin’ acid techno tool DJ’s can rely on. Those who appreciate modern anxieties crystallizing into something beautiful will love this one.
Dar Embarks - Let’s Start Our Own Thing is for modular hardware heads. Dar Embarks is dynamic duo Dan Jugle and Ken Zawacki, and this EP was lovingly shared by Ken and released posthumously in honor of Dan Jugle who sadly departed in 2018. This EP features bouncy grooves and highly-acidic machine funk tinged with industrial ambiance.
