Glo Phase is the solo project of Los Angeles-based composer and multi-instrumentalist Joseph Rusnak. With a long history in electronic production, live performance, and sound design, his work as Glo Phase blends ambient textures with rhythmic structures—balancing introspective atmospheres and movement-driven energy.
His releases span labels such as 100% Silk, Constellation Tatsu, Stasis Recordings, Whiskey Pickle, Image Research, and Low Recordings. Live sets are built around an evolving collection of analog gear, offering immersive, mood-driven interpretations of his recordings.

🚨Thrilled to be part of a very special live hardware edition of Sunday Sessions, with an entirely fresh set written just for the occasion. While I’ve been DJing a bit in recent years, live performance (especially on hardware) has always been my native language.
If you’ve ever wondered what separates a DJ set from a live set / live PA, it can definitely look confusing from the outside; lots of buttons, lights, and technical jargon. But they couldn’t be more different. A DJ is like a museum curator, arranging existing works to tell a cohesive story. A live performer is more like a sculptor, shaping something in real time with clay flying everywhere. It’s raw, improvisational, and a bit like a tightrope walk; things can go sideways, but that’s also where the magic, happy accidents, and uniquely unrepeatable moments happen.
Same scene, completely different art form, nothing pre-recorded, just creation unfolding in real time. ✨
Krane opens the evening with a vinyl set at 6pm. I’ll kick off the live hardware portion at 8pm, followed by the incredible Cliff Sequence and Kike Mayor, each bringing their own distinct live approach.
